Great guide but...

The guide is great, it gives you everything you need to complete the games, including notes where all the djinni are, secrets, and where to go in the mazes of tunnels and caves. i bought this guide after i had completed the first game and was stuck on the second, the lost age. The guide was very helpful but...
With the first game i had a feeling of discovery and fun that came with the fact that everything was new. With the guide the new game wasn't so much fun, it had lost the fun of discovery that i had found made the first one so great. There is alot to discover, which is partly why i bought the guide, but it took away alot of the time i could have spent playing and enjoying the game as a new experience
Overall i would say, this is a great game guide, but before you buy it, try completing the games on your one first, and then using the guide to help you find all the bits you missed out. The games are have a high play-again factor, so doing it using the guide won't be boring, and it also lets you open a secret room with extra summons on the Lost Age, due to catching all the djinni, whihc is very unlikely without the guide |

Golden Sun is a fantastic game, yet it is inevitable that you will become stuck more than once. The official stratergy guide is very indepth and doesn't leave anything out. A well worth buy |

The Only Golden Sun Guide You Need

I recently got both Golden Sun games for christmas and found them difficult, but fun. I got so far and decided that a guide would be the only way to complete and enjoy the game fully. This guide tells you everything you need to complete the game. I did find that the boss strategy's were a bit useless, but it was great to see what they looked like beforehand. The Djinn locations are stated too, which is great if you missing some. Overall, this is the only guide you need if you want to complete Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. |

I recently bought an copy of Golden Sun: The Lost Age from a local game shop that imports from America. It is a wonderful game and I recommend it to you all, but it is difficult and that is why you may be looking to buy this. Of course, it's the official guide so details boss encounters, djinn locations and combinations, as well as being pleasing to the eye. There are times when the descriptions could be simpler but the amount of screenshots means that even the most illiterate person can follow the solutions. There are one or two times when I felt it could provide more information but otherwise another excellent strategy guide, obviously only for those who don't have the patience (like myself) to solve the puzzles by themselves. |
