Saved!

This has protected my PSP from my chronic clumsiness time after time. I would recommend that you buy one of these at the time you buy the PSP.
I've lost count of the number of people I know with non-functioning or scarred PSP's who wanted to punch me when I said 'I told you so'. So to avoid the threat of violence from a friend or colleague please them buy one of these. |

The first item to buy your PSP

If you own a PSP, then you are going to want to protect your investment, and this is the best case for the job.
Bulky, yet lighter than you would expect for the intended job, it does make carrying your PSP in your pocket a slightly daunting concept, but if protection is your main concern, then this is a small sacrifice to make.
Logitech have crafted a robust and, unsurprisingly, given their track record with mice, ergonomic case. Clearly, the dual use of the PSP has been taken into proper consideration, so the shoulder buttons, power and headphone sockets, power/hold and WLAN switches are all accessible when the lid is closed (useful as an MP3 player), and when open, you can play a game straight away. Ok, so you still need to remove it from the case to change UMD's and the memory stick, but to grumble at that would be very foolish given what you're getting.
The case is made of a clear, hard, thick plastic (possibly acrylic), which contains a thick black rubber cushion in the lid and tray to snuggly hold the console in place. The mat in the lower tray has a circular window cut in it, so that the PSP logo on back the console can be seen when it's in the case, and the lid has a modestly sized Logitech logo placed in the centre.
Overall, yes the bulkiness may be off putting, but the protection offered far outweighs this niggle, and it is a hard wearing, sleek looking case for a sleek looking machine. Simply a must buy. |
