Amazing Gameplay
(July 29, 2004) |
|
Mech Assault was one of the first XBOX Live titles to appear on the shelves that offered a superb if not a little to quick to complete offline game scenerio and then with LIVE capabilities thrown in I have been an XBOX Live user for like forever in the UK and this game still gets the pulse racing, its quick arcade appeal is superb, the game modes just as good and nothing better than a rumble in a huge whopping Mech. If you do not own this game - then you should order now now now. |

forget the game...
(June 13, 2004) |

I haven't played this game yet, i didn't get it to play the game, I got it so I could run Linux on my X-Brick. The reasons for this are many in number, but if you have ever used a Windows PC, you'll want to stick it to Gates aswell. Using this game, an action replay and an internet connection, you can run a special linux variant on your 'box. I suggest you try this, you won't regret it! I'm sure the game is very good too... |

The best combat robot simulator on Xbox?
(May 11, 2004) |
|
Well, if the Xbox hasnt already got enough decent games to boast about, this one is a fine example. Simple, fun, explosive, exciting and about 100 tons of steel and power best describes this. Easy controls, great graphics and a 100% destructable terrain, this has to be the best robot fighter on the Xbox. Buy it now! |

Mech Assault
(October 05, 2003) |
|
With the tons of excellent games out now that can be played over Xbox Live, Mech Assault will come as a bit of a disappointment. The variety of Mechs and levels on offer is great (especially when you take into account the amount of downloadable content available), but the Mechs themselves are too slow, allowing virtually no room for tactics (like avoiding enemy gunfire, for a start). Compared to other all-out shoot-em-ups such as Unreal, this game is just to slow-paced to be much fun. |

first impressions are very good, with great graphics and effects. The best part of this game is that EVERYTHING is destructible. If you want take down a massive building you can....bit by bit. the walls crumble exposing the metal girders, very good attention to detail. overall a bit samey, but give it a go if it sounds like your thing graphics:8 sound:7 gamplay:8 replayability:7 |
