Great game. Lots of different enemies from minor demons to a number of types of angels. Enough levels to keep you going for a nice length of time, starting in the city to hell and back to "Angel Station." Plenty of weapons from pistols, to rocket launchers and even more powerful ones. Controls are tight. Very nice control. You get to beat up on Spawn's favorite whipping boys. I'd recommend this game to fans and anyone looking to see what the Spawn's all about. It's good. |

One word springs to mind after the opening sequence...WOW!! This game has captured the brilliance of Todd McFarlanes work perfectly, down to the voices from the animated series. The inclusion of the Violater early on had me laughing with the fantastic banter between him and Spawn. The hell powers are a definite plus too. The ability to slow time down to fight in almost Matrix styled action was bloody brilliant. Although the game play is slightly cagey, its made up for with the inclusion of the chains and the ability to rip 'baddies' in half in a semi crucifixion styled attack. I have loved it so far,and I'm sure that I will continue enjoying it, how could I not when machines such as bulldozers attack you. Outrageous! A must for comic book nuts! |
