If you want playability and hours of multi-player fun then read on...If you enjoyed playing Micro Machines on the Mega Drive then you're not going to be disappointed. Or if you're new to Micro Machines but want a game that is simply good fun then this is the one to buy.
The games graphics get a cutesy 7.5 out of 10, the only down side is that after viewing and choosing a well crafted character and car to race you don't get to appreciate them fully during the race. After a few races even this doesn't detract from the game as you are suckered by the playability and absorbed in beating the computer or fellow gamer.
Playability then is the key to this games success, there's a plethora of different worlds and tracks to race in and some brilliant 'micro' weapons and power ups for taking on the competition. (If you're new to Micro Machines then the controls take a little bit of getting use to but once mastered you'll soon make progress.) Playing against the computer is fun, but playing against friends is where this game comes into its own. This is one of the most addictive multi-player racing games you'll come across; it really is a case of the more the merrier.
If certain war games are not your bag, or you are simply tired of firing off a machine gun at everything in site then this is the game for you.
But be warned, if you're playing against friends make sure your competitive streak does not get out of hand. It'd be terrible to lose friends over a game. Or would it? To be the best at Micro Machines might just be worth it.
Buy Micro Machines, start a league, start a cup, let the games commence.
