I've played a few of the shorter campaigns, and found them really enjoyable. Currently playing the Peninsular War, which was a bit dicey for awhile (close to losing very early on - and Madrid has changed hands several times!), but Wellington has just turned up and it looks a bit better... Mind you, I do have a couple of cavils: firstly, that Napoleon's early campaigns in Italy aren't included, and secondly that you don't get a game like AGEOD's American Civil War where you get to fight the whole thing, and decide about your economy etc. However, that said, it's the sort of game on PC that I've been looking for, for a long long time! |
