Sim city 3000 edition is pretty annoying. You are the mayor of a unbuilt town.First you have to put in the essentials such as oil plants and telephone wires. Then you build the houses. while building you pause the simulation. You can zoom in and out and look close at who is living in your town. They you build roads which you don't know where to put them. Then you find you've ran out of money before you have put in parks and things. You have to have police, ambulances and all that stuff in case of an emergency. You can make things happen like a whirlwind or an earthquake. Part way through the game on my computer, it goes all funny so you have to start all over again. It is overall ok. |

This is a really good,and addictive game.Who would have thought you could become addicted to it,but you do.You constantly meet you advisors and are offered deals from different cities.If you make a mistake,petitoners will turn up in your office,if you do something really good,you will be commended by petitioners.Sometimes,they will even give you something for free (like a mayors house,for example).You can check everything with a query tool,which tells you vital information and can even let you change how the building looks.But,READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST.For an older game,it is very complicated (in a good way),and I tried to use it without reading the instrcutions,but it is too hard.The Instructions come on a disc,but EA games are only too happy to send them to you on paper.

At first time I got it, every day and night i would play this game. The graphics are great and so is the gameplay. Sometimes it may get frustrating at times because of the problems with money but thats the fun of the game. I found out also how fun it was to build huge cities with famous monuments or all the transportation systems. The other amazing and fun option is the water and pipes, even though the other version sim city 2000 had it too, it did not change anything, I just find it fun linking everything!
So if you are going to get it, I consider you playing it a bit then think of buying the new versions to have more and more fun! |

this game has evrything you need for a city and is very time consuming. its very addictive and you feel the need to complete it all the time. just like the pringles advert "once you play you can't stop!!" |
