Underrated PC Excellence
(March 27, 2002) |
|
Trickstyle was first released for the Dreamcast, and achieved popularity there. Now it's out on PC and it's more accessible for those of us who didn't splash out on a console. You fly on a hoverboard through various obstacle courses, and there are 10 different characters to choose from. Each character has his/her own background, which plays a crucial role throughout the game. Rivalries and insults are rife, and it's up to you to defend the name of your character by performing the best tricks ever to win!! The controllers are easy to use and get the hang of, but the transformation from DC to PC is still noticeable. The ease of the DC joypad is replaced by the PC keyboard and the game does not mention which keys do which moves. It is not difficlut to figure out which keys do what, though, and this is the only problem with an otherwise superb game. |
