Crazy Taxi
(April 12, 2003) |
|
I am only 13 years of age but I have to say that Crazy Taxi is amamzing. Great graphics, fantastic cars and generally a brilliant game. My WHOLE family (including my mum, dad and younger sister) enjoy the game. At first you are a really bad driver but as you play it loads and loads you are the master. I don't think there is anything wrong with it at all. You get to do mini challenges which are fab and it is a very addictive. Too much fun for boring people. The cars are great and the people, cab drivers, are really funny. This is a game which will make you laugh. Worth the money and a must. |

Short lived
(September 01, 2002) |
|
When I saw this on the shelves, I just had to buy it. However, just looking at the main menu, I realised it was going to be a waste. There is nothing new about this game. Since the PC is more powerful, they could have added a career mode or something with more imagination, but there are only two levels. I COMPLETED IT THE DAY THAT I BOUGHT IT, EVEN THE MINI GAMES. If you are a gamer who demands longevity or a plot that will keep you going for weeks, I would definately not recommend this product. Fine, the grapchics are just above average, but more is required. (You'll be needing a fairly hefty 3D card to run this properly) |

Crazy Concet, great game!
(August 21, 2002) |
|
Crazy Taxi is an excellent (if slightly short lived) game, the graphics are astounding, the cars look great, the graphics aren't quite as as advanced as those seen in newer games (e.g. Grand Turismo) but Crazy Taxi (unlike other driving games) puts as much emphasis on the scenery (well, it has to really..) as on the cars and the results are great. The Audio is good (the Offspring tracks are great) and the gameplay is brilliant, so some have criticised the game for being short lived, so what! The game is all about fun! - there are times when I want to forget about deep plots and pressure, the game has enough single player activities to last a while, and after that the arcade mode will go on and on, its great when you invite friends round too, after all, who could play this arcade great from Sega and not have fun? |
