Great Sudoku Fun
(April 11, 2006) |
|
Me and my husband are big Sudoku fans and regularly fight over the puzzles in the newspaper, we often end up buying two and seeing who can do the puzzle the fastest! But, my friend recommended this PC game to me and with the promise of infinite number of puzzles how could I refuse!? We've saved a fortune on papers and now we either print the puzzles out and do them in front of the TV (good if you want to compete against each other and see who does it first as you can print out two copies of the same puzzle) or have a go on the computer. For such a bargain price, the CD is lovely looking and has different variations and levels of puzzles - I print off the easy ones for my grandson when he comes over and he has a go too. So everyone's happy! I give this CD five out of five stars - it's super. |

You'll never need another sudoku puzzle again...

It's taken a while but I have finally managed to understand how to solve a sudoku puzzle! So now i have caught the addictive bug I thought I'd buy some extra puzzles (got a bit fed up of the one a day in the papers!) Anyway, I decided to buy infinite sudoku so I was guaranteed to never run out of puzzles. Once I got this loaded on my computer I was addicted from the word go! There were a few puzzles that I got stuck on, but I just used the hints button which was really handy for solving those super difficult ones! |

Infinite Sudoko
(February 06, 2006) |
|
Just purchased this software. It's only use is to give you more sudoko problems to solve. As you are unable to put in your own pencil marks, this programme does it for you, thus making problem solving of even the most difficult puzzles to easy. I suppose if you do get stuck this programme will assist. Disappointing. |

The programme has some good features, especially that of saving you the tedious job of entering pencil marks. Unfortunately there is no way I can find to edit these so if you are able to logically eliminate one or more of these marks [thus increasing your chances of spotting pairs or trebles] you can only amend the square by copying onto paper. Not an ideal way to solve a computer puzzle! You can of course try to obliterate the redundant numbers mentally but if there are several of these I find that very difficult to do. Olly |

If you love Sudoku, you'll love this!

This is one of the best games I have bought for a long time. OK, I am a complete Sudoku fan, so I thought I would give this a try, as there are no limits to the amount of grids included unlike some I have seen. The only thing I found was that it was COMPLETLY ADDICTIVE, so beware! If you love Sudoku then you have gotta buy a copy of this, and for under a tenner you can guarantee that you will never need to buy another Sudoku cd ever again...BARGAIN!!! |
