Excellent backgammon game which is great fun to beat.

I am only writing this review in response to the negative review somebody else gave this game. Their comment is just completely untrue!
The game has 5 levels. If you can't beat the computer on the first couple of levels then you need to read Bill Robertie's "Backgammon for Winners" book. Once you have digested that you will find the first three levels a breeze.
The higher levels are far more challenging, to say they are rigged is just ridiculous though. Ok, the computer has thrown two double sixes in a row on one occasion, but statisticly thats bound to happen once in a while. I've been equally jammy!
It is very satisfying to win a match against this game at its highest setting, and not something that is easily attainable. It is however perfectly possible.
I consider myself an intermediate player and I found this game excellent. I don't know how advanced players will find it but for beginners and intermediate players it is a steal. |

Really frustrating game: whatever your move, the computer, surprise surprise, throws exactly what it needs to beat you. I guess the price says it all. |
