The best out of them all

Ive tried Battlefield 2, Battlefiled 2142, half life 2 and Counterstrike which i personally feel is way overated-but none of these match up to the quality of Swat4. I rarley play the story mode of this game as i mainly play it online, for anyone with a connection- no matter how slow (i have 56k and i can still play this game minus lag) play this game online you can spend hours of fun, but play to much and you will become highly addicted. This game however takes a bit of getting use to as it is fairly realistic but when you do get the hang of it- you will love it, this is the best and my personal favourate online FPS game that i have come across so far- BUY it. |

Tactical Shooter

You cant just go in guns blazing! This is more tactical. Pick what kit you going to take with you(Guns, Pepper Spray, flash bangs etc), then guide your team to take down the bad guys, either by making them submit or shooting them if they dont! You can also split your team and send them on different tasks. This did seem quite hard to master, but you do have training to help you as this does make later levels easier. You also have a back-up sniper which comes in handy during the game. Played on standard level first time round which was still challenging, there are two harder levels to play and I know I will have a new challenge now to face! Graphics are great, at time of release. You do need a powerful computer to play on full settings-I'm running P4 3.6Ghz, 2Gb Ram, Sapphire X850xt. This is selling for around £3 second hand at time of review-well worth it!! |

SWAT 4

hi, this is a must buy. i got this the other day and have hardly stopped playing on it. it has lots of tactics required so you'll need to think unlike any other shooter where you just run around. it's better than the other SWAT series as it's first person. where you can only see the gun. your teammates are clever and actually help you and do what you tell them too. they are very elite. it has lots of freedom. eg, if your clearing a house you can use snake cams and a full arsenal of weaponry with all the grenades and guns imagionable. the taser is very fun to use. another example would be if you were in a house and one of your snipers outside the house spots an enemy he'll tell you wherer he is and you can also enter the scope. there are plenty of missions in unique locations like hospitals etc. and different objectives like bomb disposal or terroist hunt or hostage rescue. this game also has a multiplayer format. buy it, you won't regret it. thanks. |

SWAT4 - The Wonders

If you think that SWAT4 is just another random shoot'em up then you are wrong. This is a game all about tactics. You have to use your mind, and your in-game team, to overcome the obstacles ahead of you.
Online is another matter. It is more of a shoot'em up, but with different scenarios, such as VIP Escort, transporting the VIP to the exit with the suspects trying to capture the VIP.
This game has stunning graphics and a very realistic feel about it.

This is a must buy game with its suberb graphics and action. The probllem is its loading especially for multiplayer but its definately worth the money.You won't play on any other game. |
