This game is a thrilling adventure with a great story line and characters. I love the script! It's so funny, and all the characters have thier own style! I strongly advise you to buy this game!

Mr sansom's review was rather entertaining, stating that the command system was over complicated. Dear chap, what can be so hard about holding your right mouse button and then letting go? It really is that simple, and overall it works.
The Brothers in Arms games are among my faveourite world war 2 shooters. I think the tactics set it apart from the rest of the pack and you really did feel like you're there. I loved the realism. |

Most realistic WWII FPS yet
(June 30, 2006) |

If you are one of those athletic guys who bounce around in COD multiplayer, you won't like this. This is much closer to reality - outlines are blurred by rain, weapons are difficult to use and aim, the enemy is hard to hit (although a bit predictable and static at times) and weapons fired from the hip are inaccurate and unstable. Oh, and the MP44 is the best gun in the game, which is as it should be.
No first aid packs, no cross-hairs, and excellent extras showing the real battlefields you fight over, this is a very realistic experience for those who find COD and MOHAA too cinematic. The squad controls are a bit difficult to use at speed - sometimes you end up sending your entire squad into a crossfire and killing the lot of them.
It's involving, difficult and you have to think a bit more about tactics - excellent direction for the next generation of FPS to take. Buy it and play it |

Don't know what 'lost snail' has been doing - did he not find the 'E' key to get the target well and truly in his sights? Tho' not mentioned in the handbook it takes only a wee while to work it out even with trial & error. I find too many things going on at once in the later levels |

its just annoying

its kinda good. liked the story (altho the guy doin monologs be4 each mission WHICH U CANT SKIP got annoying) i love the whole realisum thing, the real levels and the real events and stuff but...
well...its just not quite fun. its not safisfying. i mean, it kinda is, u fire ur gun and it makes a big THUMP and u feel like u did some real damage!
EXCEPT U DIDNT cos u cant hit a damn thing with any of the weapons! (altho the most accurate, i found, was the pistol?!) i mean seriously! ppl we're talkin that WW2 weapons arent accurate...they were using some of them up till the 70s! they m1 carbine is still in production! if it was really that you cudnt hit a target squarely in your sites with them, why wud that be?
and who taught that guy to shoot? waves around all over the place.
basically, it shud be fun, but theres so many annoying little things about it, most of all not being able to shoot straight, that it just gets to u. dont buy it |
