Don't do it

Even though its less than twenty pounds its not worth the money. The seat is rock hard (even with a pillow on top)the table has no stability at all, and with prolonged use would fall apart. I used mine for about one hour,in that time all the caps covering the nuts and bolts fell off. The frame twisted and took me almost as long to then undo it as it jammed from the twisting .Save your money and get a real frame, I now have £19.48 towards mine. |

STOP - don't even think about buying it.

I have bought one yesterday, received today, was excited but a big dissapointment. The stand for the wheel so wobbly that you can;t even handle the wheel properly to finish a race. Don't even think about it. It is made of a very bad plastic and seems week so I immediately stopped playing to avoid braking so I can get my refund. I returned it today. Back to my desk. |

Flawed but well worth the money!

This is a great product for the price. Sure, it is not as sturdy as a gaming seat. But a gaming seat will cost you anywhere from £150 to £300, so is that a surprise? It will also take up a sizable amount of space, whereas this will tuck away into any wardrobe, or even behind the sofa. There is a certain amount of movement (wobbling) when you are steering, but I did not find it ruined the experience. It was certainly better than balancing the wheel on your lap.
My only criticism is that the part you sit on should have been padded in some way. It is made of very hard plastic, and the underside is not even smooth. Hence, if you use it on a leather sofa, you run the risk of marking the seat, and prolonged use gets quite uncomfortable. I reduced the problem by folding a thick blanket over and under the end of it, making it more comfortable and protecting my sofa at the same time.
But for the money, an excellent addition to the driving experience. I use mine with a Logitech Driving Force Pro Steering Wheel. |
