Great for all abilities.

I'm just beginning to get the hand of sudoku. It's taken me a while and lot of patient people explaining how to do them! I got into them more because of the brain training game on my DS Lite. This has led to me buying this game.
There are 4 levels: easy, mild, medium and hard so there is really something there for everyone. I would reckon those starting out (like me) on the lower levels are going to get more value for money out of this game than those starting straight away on the hard ones. However with a total of 1000 puzzles to do then I think there's enough to keep me occupied for quite a long time!
You have the option to have the cheat mode on (if you want to) and also to write in the corner of the squares in 'pencil' before committing to 'pen' or you can keep the pen on all of the time and have them committed straight away. There's a timer so you can keep an eye on your progress and also the facility to have a warning if you enter a duplicate number. All good stuff for the cost! Being able to save and pause is also a bonus just in case the phone rings or your laptop battery is running out for example.
It was so easy to install, for all those techno-phobes. I just popped in and followed the instructions - simple! Happy playing!

Highly Addictive

As a total Sudoku addict I'm very pleased with this game, I found it loaded easily onto my PC and is very easy to use and get round. I don't print the puzzles out I like to do them on the PC. The 4 levels of difficulty means that it would be a good introduction for someone new to these puzzles, my 9 year old loves trying to solve the Easy ones, with the help of the cheat function :) - It saves games for you so you can go back to them, it also has a nice little hint button that is supposed to help you without really cheating. I really don't think they could have made this game any better :) |

I am at a loss to understand what one reviewer,(puzzler54) wants. Of course you go unto the next puzzle when you finish one. These puzzle are crafted so that you can only solve it one way. these 'on the fly' puzzles dont work that way, they are crap. This is a well presented piece of software which should suit any "REAL" puzzlers well |

A must for all fellow Sudoku addicts!

I would happily recommend this product to all Sudoku fans out there! The puzzles are well though out - sometimes it really is quality not quantity that counts abd if you've a true suduko fan this does affect the logic and technique needed to solve each one. Both my kids love it too, mainly the easy ones and as you can log in as individual users iyt saves a record of completed or part-completed puzzles for each of us. Definately worth the money! |

Highly Addictive - great buy!

I've only just got into Sudoku and am completely hooked so i bought this product to load onto my PC. The quality of puzzles are great - you can tell it's come from Puzzler. You can pencil in numbers and then easily get rid of them once you've found the right number. Puzzles can be printed as well as done on screen which is great when the PC isn't to hand although you can save them half way through if you need to. I've worked through quite a few puzzles buyt haven't got to the Hard ones yet! Would thoroughly recommend this to other Sudoku fans - although it's only got 1000 in it they are much better than the randomly generated ones you can get on the net and in other products - who needs more than 1000 anyway! Great value and hours of Suduko fun - give it a try! |
