Pathetic!

This game is absoloutly terrible.I will start with the best bits first. You get to buy new moves for crash. Once you defeat monsters you can control them and use their powers. That's about all the good stuff.
Now for the bad stuff. All the levels seem exactly the same!Compare this game to the wrath of vortex, another bandicute game. There levels are completely varied, unlike crash of the titans. You get to drive in veichals and planes not in crash of the titans. You get to roll about in hamster balls, not in crash of the titans. You get chased by dinosours and stampedes, not in crash of the titans. You get to play as different characters, not in crash of the titans. You have lifes, not in crash of the titans,you just continue at the last check point, you can't die! The levels are well put together and have a reasonable length. Not in crash of the titans, they are way too long and take up all your time. The controls are simple and clever, not in crash of the titans, they are way to fiddley and complicated. There are lots of levels, not in crash of the titans, there is only twenty!! Have you got the picture? The video of the game makes it look fantastic but it is not. I was really expecting this to be a brilliant game but it has dissapointed me so much! Please don't buy this game, get wrath of vortex or new super mario bros instead! |

Brilliant fun....but a little too easy!

This game overall is brilliant. Graphics are fantastic, new moves and the "jacking" of the baddies is great fun and it hasn't lost its humour. I am 21 and used to play Crash on the PS2 with my sisters when I lived at home as a teenager (12-16) and loved it, hence the reason why I bought this for my DS.
The levels are good and there are plenty of mini-levels as well which mixes things up a bit. Very addictive and I found myself shouting at the screen in a tantrum on serveral occassions when I got stuck on one bit! Only thing I would say is, I have played this game for two days (not particularly solid) and managed to finish it to my surprise! 4 stars is good but could have added another few levels or made the others longer/harder to prolong the game.
Saying this, its definitely a game you would pick up again and again as it is great fun playing. Would recommend and buy again even knowing what I know now. |
