Excellent memories

Believe it or not, this was my first N64 game way back in '97! I bought in on impulse from Blockbuster Video shop, and it remained a well-played classic for years to come with the old folks (particularly competitive dad's...) The graphics for the time were excellent, the driver's commentary is quite real, and the control is actually really good. All in all, I feel this is quite an under-rated N64 game. |

In short, this is still the best f1 game I have ever played! Brilliant graphics for a 64 bit game and gameplay is awesome, especially with the wheel and its a very challenging game which makes it very good to own! |

A bit out of date but who cares?

A great racing game. The tracks are identical to the real ones. Most of the drivers are gone now like Alesi,Berger,Hakkinen etc. But the Schumachers are there,Coulthard and Truli. The controls are great, you can have manuel or automatic brakes. You can turn damage on and off as well. There is Grand Prix mode which does exactly what it says on the tin. There is exebition mode when you can drive on any course like a free style. There is a mode when you go through scenarios of real events like taking control of Fretzen trying to hold off M.Schumacher in San Marino. There is 2p so you can race against a friend. The graphics are blocky but it is for the N64 and it came out in 1997. If you've got a N64, BUY THIS GAME YOU'LL LOVE IT! |

This is an exalant F1 sim based on the 1997 season. Incredibly detailed and realistic. Don't be put of by it's price the reason it is cheap is because it has been out for so long. |
