The worst game of all time
(June 02, 2005) |
|
If there was an olympics for worst game ever, this game would win the gold with no competition. It is easily, in 5 years of experienced gaming, the worst game I have ever, EVER had the misfortune to play. Let me try and explain why. The graphics are wrong, the cars are wrong, the settings are wrong, the levels are wrong, the playstyle is wrong, the handling is absolutley incredibly bad, I can never believe that this game ever came into creation. The cars reach a maximum speed of 30 mph (this being the top safe speed, because if you hit a bump, you go flying, turn over, roll, nearly explode and end up facing the wrong way. The commentary is wrong, incorrect, and the most annoying I have ever heard, and I would never, ever, ever sell it to anyone because a they would never buy it, and b, I would never sell such a totally and utterly appalling game to anyone! It is a let down and a disgrace to the gaming world. |

Amazing Graphics...Pathetic Gameplay
(March 17, 2002) |
|
I bought this game in 1999 and must have spent no more than 3 hours playing on it. The graphics and sound are excellent and the game features cars such as the Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi Lancer but this game is drammatically let down by its gameplay. It has a maximum of 2 players and the computers cars never set a foot wrong. If you take a slight nick on the kurb you are instantly 5 seconds behind and out of the race. It is pratically impossible to finish anywhere other than last. If you want a realistic driving sim that boasts quality graphics and sound, or you are colin macray then buy it. But if you actually want a game that you can play and get any sort of enjoyment out of, dont. My suggestion is to buy Mario kart 64 which is a bundle of laughs. |

v good rally
(March 14, 2002) |
|
A fantastice rally game. This is really good fun. There are many cars to choose from, as well as a handfull of excellently crafted locations to visit. You can choose from the arcade mode, to the more elongated championship mode. The control of the car is at first quite difficult, but this is just another positive aspect of the game, as once you have mastered it, it is all the more satisfying to watch your car slide round the corners like a professional rally driver! Consistently cheaper than most other N64 games, but seldom have I played another one more! |
