F-Zero X
(March 06, 2006) |
|
F-Zero X is THE best racing game I have ever played on any of my consoles! The Game speed is very fast and some cars can reach speeds above 1200Kph (that's pretty damn fast!) The Music works well with the game , especially the music for the 'High Speed Ring - Silence' the music makes the game seem as if it is moving faster! There's also a special bonus racing section which hold a random track maker, some are really easy, some are real punishment which can have you screaming in anger! A utterly fantastic game! (P.S. My favourite car is John Tanaka's 'Wonder Wasp') |

F Zero X (Nintendo 64)
(January 21, 2004) |
|
The N64 was a great throwback to the days of cartridge based systems, and for me, this was possibly one of the great games made in those offices. It's not only fast, difficult, and loads of fun, but so utterly addictive you'll play until you win. The storyline is, well, there is no storyline. You jump into a car which quality varies in three categories. Then, after selecting your max spped to acceleration level, you race a series of 6 races. It takes more than just a foot on the pedal, with easy controls for turning, and obliterating opponents. As you complete each level of ease, up to master, you unlock different ships and courses, which is great for the multiplayer option, which allows you to have heaps of fun with four friends, though an expansion pack is required. Overall, this is probably one of the essential N64 games, and will reap hours of entertainment and a few blistered thumbs. |

Very fast for it's time
(October 18, 2003) |

F Zero X is perhaps the pinnacle of futuristic racing (except for F Zero GX), it is a truley brilliant racer with over 30 different craft to choose from. A great feature is to eliminate your rivals from a race by using the simple control system. All in all a great game for anyone looking for a bit of speed |

liked wipeout? This is better
(July 19, 2000) |

If wipeout is supposed to be the classic futurustic racer then f-zero x is the future of futuristic racers. Not as fast as episode 1, or as good looking for that matter, but infinately more playable and user friendly with more tracks, vechicles and options. The best racer for the n-64 RJ |
