Be The Bad Guy And Help Wario In One Of His Greatest Adventures Known!!
(October 29, 2007) |
|
It has been a little while for Wario, but his dream has finally come true when Mario's archenemy finally has a game of his own! Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 is the final sequel for the Super Mario Land games for the Game Boy Console and Wario's first ever platform game!
Although the game is called Super Mario Land 3, it has little relation with Mario himself, since the game is mostly based on Wario rather than Mario!
After Wario's failure of conquering Mario's Castle back in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, Wario doesn't give up his wish of owning a Castle himself.
Now wanting one even more bigger and better than Mario himself, Wario remembered that the pirates of Kitchen Island had stolen the giant golden status of Princess Peach. Obviously Mario is on the hunt for the statue but Wario thought that if he found the statue first he could use it to purchase a Castle he really wanted and wished for.
So without thought, Wario sets of for Kitchen Island unaware that the evil Captain Syrup heard of the announcement and prepared her henchman to take out Wario once and for all. Will Wario be able to find a whole load of treasure, Princess Peach's Statue and defeat Captain Syrup before it's too late and Mario finds the statue?
Although, you are the bad guy, not all bad guys are always bad! You must team up with Wario and travel through loads of Worlds in Kitchen Island and eliminate Captain Syrup's useless minions, conquer parts of Kitchen Islands and grab all the treasures that lie on the island.
By using Wario's Strength and Power, you'll be able to body dash, slam, squash, throw and squish all of you're enemies and past all of Captain Syrup's obstacles in over 35 levels that lie in Wario's quest!
A backup Memory Unit is also supplied in this game which allows you to save your progress and continue from certain destinations the next time you boot up the game!
My Personal Game Score: 9.9/10: Too Good, Too Brilliant, Too Close For A Fantastic 10/10 Score
My Wish: I would like to see a Wario game, which re-makes this classic adventure game. For example putting Mario in 3D Graphics, 3D Backgrounds, Enemies and much more!
Final Comments: As well as Super Mario Land 1 and Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, Wario Land 1: Super Mario Land 3 is a highly recommended game for the Game Boy and highly enjoyable. Like Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, I used to play this endlessly on the Black And White Game Boy until the batteries expired!

Best platformer ever...
(July 10, 2004) |

Warioland, is one of the most amazing games i have ever played, forgeting about 2,3 and 4 (which i found rather disapointing after playing the original) it has almost completely different gameplay, and is much more similar to a mario game. For example, Warios powerups are provided by wearing certain sorts of hats, and of course, he can become small when hit by an enemy. Anyway, the point is, if you liked the over wario games you will LOVE this. enjoi ;) |

In the good old days...
(December 29, 2003) |

Alas, these days video games have gone so extremly up market that you can barely remember the old NES or Gameboy (original mind you) games of times forgot. Well all these new systems could take a lesson from Wario Land, it was one of the definative gameboy games and one of the best playformers money could buy... But you know, don't listen to the old man, go play your dang X-Boxes and that damn blinx time cat thing you call a game. |
