Very Poor

Having purchased the original PC version a few years ago. I was expecting, vastly improved game. However, the new game, is very poor in virtually every aspect. Graphics are abbismal. Pressing the X button cause the refresh rate of the TV to change and then flicker. Colours are very poor. Game play very poor. Very, very disappointed! |

Presentation
Sleek, easily navigable interface that's complimented by a detailed manual. The options aren't overwhelming, but it's all about simplification. Too bad you can't skip text scenes.
Graphics
Polished, crisp, well lit graphics that are generally vibrant and colorful comprise the bulk of the visual in the game. There is some texture pop in and polygon glitching, but it looks great as is..
Sound
You got to respect the game with the gibberish voice. All the characters and their weird cutesy language is just irresistible, or damn annoying, depending on how you look at it.
Gameplay
A charmingly fun cartoonish combat racer, this game plays excellently with cars featuring different attributes and some decent physics. Sucks how you get caught on a lot of the background stuff. |
