The biggest failing of this compendium (Micro Machines 1 & 2) is the lack of save facility. This is exactly the kind of game that you would like to save your position in (especially within MM 1). The saving grace though, is the playability of both and the excellent MM 2, which a save feature is less applicable since it has quite a steep difficulty curve.Drive different types of 'matchbox' style vehicles around everyday appliances and objects (snooker and kitchen tables etc..)
Both games are in a 2D style top-down approach and the driving area scrolls around your car. This not only works very well, but is extremely smooth and fast.
If you require a tounge-in-cheek 2D driving game, this is it. See also the excellent Driver :)
