ISS Sucks, but...
(October 28, 2001) |

so does this. Ridiculously easy on easy mode, ridiculously easy in pro mode, ridiculously hard in world class mode. It also contains the worst offside logic anywhere ever, (apart from conference linesman) where even if a player is nowhere near the ball it is considered offside. Add in the fact that you can only save about 30 changed players, meaning you basically have to keep the pointless, irrelevant, self gratifying EA teams in there. It is a pretty bad game, but i still prefer it to ISS. Sorry. |

A winning combiation!

Absolutely brilliant. Far better than FIFA 2001. Cheaper and far better gameplay - a winning combination! |

Absolutely Atrocious. Don't buy this.

I thought the FIFA games were good but they get boring after 10 minutes. The reason for this is because the game is so basic. Get posession of the ball, run, shoot - goal. At first it seems good but I find it very empty just winning every game 12-0. If you want a great football game, it has to be ISS Pro Evolution 1 or 2. Anybody who thinks FIFA 2000 is good has never played ISS because once you play those games you will never, in a million years, return to the FIFA games. Never. Avoid this. |

BEST FIFA EVER!
(April 06, 2001) |
|
This is the only FIFA game to truly impress me, and I have played the best-selling 2001 edition aswell as the others of the past. No game made by EA comapres. With the brilliant edition of classic teams you can find out whether the 1977 Liverpool side could beat the Manchester United of today. And the truth, yes they can! You can also play as teams you have seen only on early morning sport shows because they're that obscure and to go with that all the top teams of the 2000 ending season in the worlds best leagues of England, Italy, Spain, Germany etc, AND the leagues outside of Europe and the international teams. Pull your cash together to buy this game, and if you don't have enough, pester ANYBODY 'cos it is that damn good. |

Awful, buy ISS Evolution
(August 15, 2000) |
|
Yet again EA have released a sub standard footy game that is no great improvement from any previous releases. Stupidly easy to score, lack of diversity between each match, and nowhere near as good as ISS, which is truly a great game. Why have accurate player names when they in no way resemble their true life counterparts? |
