This Game Rocks - FULL STOP

For people wanting to experience the next-generation of gaming on the PlayStation 3 look no further than MotorStorm. Being one of the few release day games MotorStorm had a lot to live up to with all the hype surrounding Sony's new machine, but without a doubt this game does not let anyone down. Set in the Monumental Valley in Arizona MotorStorm is a fictional off-road, anything-goes racing tournament which puts you in control of a wide selection of different vehicle types ranging from quad bikes, to rally cars and even big trucks! Each vehicle however is suited to different conditions which means that you carefully have to choose the best route through the vast race courses. The graphics are absolutely stunning and I can't emphasise on the word stunning! With beautiful backdrops and highly detailed terrain - this looks so real. But as we all know graphics aren't the be all and end all and you will be glad to hear that the gameplay rocks. Action-packed comes to mind and there is nothing better than ploughing through your enemies in a truck and sending them flying off huge canyon cliffs. The environment actually changes as the race goes on with mud tracks becoming clear as laps go on. There is so much to praise in MotorStorm - it feels so good and it looks so good, and topped off with an awesome soundtrack this game is adrenaline pumping. Seriously though I haven't enjoyed a game this much in such a while. Five stars, no question! Oh yeah and you can play online!!! Seriously why are you reading this at under £20 you'd be mad to turn MotorStorm down! |
