Brilliant blast-action stuff

The original game, this game is still a winner. Although dated, nothing beats blasting the s**t out of all the enemies you encounter. There is also a secret stage to try out if you do really well - this is definitley worth checking out.
However, I played this game with a controller and was horrified. You get killed trying to aim at the enemies as you have to move the cross-hair around, this is a bad idea. But when using a lightgun I found this game the best and simply unbeatable.
Who cares if the graphics aren't completely up to scratch? With tons of enemies to blast to pieces, cars to shoot up and rockets to dodge, who would stop to think about the graphics? The gameplay of Time Crisis is simply mindless, action-packed fun, and this is all that matters. |

This game in my opinion is easily one of the best there is for the Playstation, actually for any console. It is simplicity itself merely being point, shoot, duck, shoot some more. This simplicity leaves it open to anyone even people not used to computer games, but is also deeply enjoyable for veterans. It is also a game which you can play again and again even when it is completed as the gameplay and level of satisfaction inherent it is huge. The style of the game is involving, satisfying and fun, exactly like being Arnie in Commando gunning down hundreds of anonymous terrorist/bad guy types armed only with your trusty hand gun, the G-con accessory of which is absolutely essential to play the game to the fanastic level that it deserves. Brilliant game the reason why I'm going to buy a PSone or if it can be afforded a PS2. Happy playing! |

Shame about the graphics!

Time Crisis is a classic and due to its age I'll forget the crappy graphics comments. Time Crisis like most shooting games doesn't go very deep like metal gear or final fantasy but if you wanted that you wouldn't be buying an arcade classic. Top marks for fun! I have to say it... ... the graphics suck!!! |

This game is a must for any arcade fan,the only thing that lacks is the lack of the recoil feature on the g-con45 but with this game and the dead acurate gun you won't mind.This graphics and dating now but texture mapping on the playstation 2 brings it all up to date. |
